About SignalTrade

What it does, and why it's built the way it is.

SignalTrade is a decision-support tool for people who buy and hold crypto on spot markets — not futures, not leverage. It turns real price structure (support and resistance zones, trendlines, trend state, momentum, volume) into a plain Buy or Wait call, with a stop-loss, take-profit and risk/reward ratio attached, so the recommendation is never just a feeling.

Why "backtest-gated" matters

Most crypto signal tools apply one scoring model to every coin and call it a day. We tested that assumption directly: the same strategy that works well on ETH performed very differently on other coins under different market regimes. So a Buy/Wait verdict only goes live for a symbol once its specific strategy has been run against real historical data and shown a genuine edge — a positive profit factor and expectancy across a meaningful number of trades, not a cherry-picked window. If a symbol hasn't cleared that bar, SignalTrade says so plainly instead of guessing.

Why spot-only

Nearly every trading-signal product in this space is built around leverage and futures — stop-outs are automatic, positions get liquidated, and the whole framing assumes margin. Spot holders have a different reality: no forced liquidation, often a longer time horizon, and a real question of "add, hold, or take profit" rather than "will I get stopped out." SignalTrade's guidance is built for that reality specifically.

Why it never touches your funds

SignalTrade only reads public market data — prices, volume, funding rates, open interest. It never connects to an exchange account, never asks for an API key, and never executes a trade. Position tracking is a ledger you tell it about yourself; nothing about it can move your money.

Not financial advice

SignalTrade is a tool for structuring your own decision-making, not a substitute for it. Always do your own research and manage your own risk.
